...Thirty years ago I stayed at a very rustic wilderness lodge on the remote upper St. Joe River in Idaho. I'd packed in by horseback, and when I unloaded my gear I discovered I'd forgotten to bring shampoo. The lodge had a "community" product in its washhouse and I used it. This product, Mill Creek shampoo, so impressed me with the way it kept my hair healthy-looking that I've used it ever since; some thirty years now. If you compare the ingredients with many other shampoos you'll see that natural substances have the biggest share of the contents. That this product has endured on the market all these years is a testiment to its quality.

This shampoo works well for me. It doesn't suds up as much, but it also doesn't have quite the amount of chemicals as other shampoos. The Henna is helping to repair and protect my hair damage. The scent is clean and very light. I would recommend.

This shampoo lathers fairly well (and without laurel sulfate), rinses clean. My hair texture is fine and it leaves hair full, doesn't seem to dry out or strip out the oils. The 16 oz. bottle lasts a long time. I have no complaints and will probably repurchase.

Great shampoo, it darkens hair a little to maintain color naturally. Nice scent, healthy.

I have been using this shampoo for many, many years.
I love it!

I have used mill shampoo for years but had to stop because I could no longer find it in my area. I then started using shampoos I could purchase at local stores and my hair condition and quality took a big hit. I then started searching and finally found a site to order from and have used it since. My hair is now stronger anf in better condition.

I've been using Mill Creek Henna shampoo for at least a decade. I have no desire to use any other shampoo, as this shampoo and conditioner cleans my hair without stripping it. Leaving in healthy, manageable and lustrous!

I have been using this henna shampoo for several years now. It highlights my natural color without the inconvenience of a dye. My hair always looks natural.

I used pure (clear) henna shampoo for years. It make my hair lustrous & shiny, thicker and more manageable. We’ll, I can’t get that product anymore but this shampoo gives me almost the same results-closest I’ve been able to find. Try it!

I have fine curly hair. I use henna dyes as everything else destroys my hair. I’ve tried many products for fine hair, curly hair, with mixed results.
This shampoo is the absolute best. My hair is soft shiny and full of bounce. I rotated back to one of my old shampoos and noticed the difference … switched back immediately.
I’m buying more. It’s really good stuff.

This keeps my hair from getting tangled. Most of all it makes it strong so you don't see a lot of shedding and breakage anymore. I saw a difference with the first use, so I continue to buy them. Thanks!
