It lost a star because it just came in a plastic bag and it leaked. It lost another star because when I started to use it it smelled like a car product. I only used it once so far, but hopefully it helps me with my dandruff. I gave this product a try because it had a good rating on Yuka.
Update: I gave a star back because my scalp feels clear. It's a product that works.

Smells funky, but good for dandruff/dry scalp.

It used to work really well, now it didn’t seem to make much different.

I wanted to like this since I have used this shampoo for years but this new one fell short

This worked wonders for my dandruff and I love that it’s a clean product but the smell is so horrible… I find myself not using it because it smells like a car shop and the smells sticks around.

It does smell but I haven't used it long enough to see a difference yet I'll come back in a month if I don't forget

I am not exaggerating when I say that this is the only shampoo that has worked consistently for me over the last few years. After trying at least a dozen different shampoos in an effort to combat my stubborn sebhorreic dermatitis, I noticed that Mill Creek contains coal tar, whereas most other dandruff formulas contain only zinc pyrithione. Initially, I used the Mill Creek three times per week for a few weeks, then started tapering back to 2x per week, then once a week. In between, I’ve used the Mill Creek Biotin Formula Shampoo and Conditioner. It took a few months for my symptoms to subside. I now use the dandruff formula as needed. My condition was initially so severe that I could barely touch my scalp without releasing a flurry of flakes. Today, my scalp is clean and healthy. I’ll use the dandruff formula at the first sign of itching or flaking, and I continue to use the Biotin Formula Shampoo and Conditioner. Give Mill Creek a try!

Great product...has helped with my daughter's dandruff.

This helped my 11 year old sons dandruff issue and remediated it rather quickly. It smells horrid though, so be prepared for that (I deducted one star due to smell).

My son has allergies and this shampoo works and does not cause the horrible itching and stinging as other shampoos.

As a professional hairstylist, and as someone who has dry scalp... this is the best shampoo that I have used that actually works! Works for my clients with eczema and psoriasis as well. Not to mention, good for other skin conditions and I've used as a body wash, especially during peak allergy season and skin gets itchy. The smell is not great. But the smell doesn't linger in the hair at all. Best to leave on scalp at least 5min. And be sure to double shampoo your hair! Makes a difference! Very concentrated, so I've had to teach people how to use it and how much to use. If you need more lather, ADD MORE WATER, not more shampoo. I like pairing this with the aloe vera conditioner for a soothed scalp.

I've purchased this shampoo from some random retailer and I thought I should search online rather than going from store to store. Best to go to the source! I love how clean my hair gets, the soothing, healthy effects on my scalp, and the smell and lathering texture. Particularly excited to pair it with your keratin conditioner, which I'd not tried before. Thanks, folks!
