Non-porous hair is difficult to hydrate - it simply doesn't absorb easily. The hemp conditioner noticably hydrates the hair and restores natural texture. My hair didn't feel as frail after using this conditioner. I have "old age" hair now - which is baby fine, way too soft, lacks body, and needs lots of hydration and texture. The hemp isn't heavy - it's a gentle conditioner that hydrates and adds some texture. My only negative - isn't a negative for most people. I suffer from CIRS which means I must avoid all synthetic fragrance - and some natural fragrance. Mill Creek Botanicals does not use any synthetic frangrance, but, they do use natural fragrance. The Hemp conditioner natural fragrance is mildly irritating - meaning just a slight bit of inflammation. I can deal with the almost minimal irritation. It would be great if they would use peppermint EO as their fragrance - that has an anti-inflammatory effect. It's the only natural fragrance that achieves that attribute. Hamp Conditioner is a winner.
